About Lil Sicky
Lil Sicky is a manifestation of my real cancer journey and the therapeutic release of creating.
Each generative NFT is a product of doodles I created following my diagnosis with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in November 2021 representing personal interests of mine as well as the more eccentric corners of my imagination. These doodles have provided much needed entertainment and a creative outlet during a time when I'm isolated from work, friends, and family. It's my hope that Lil Sicky can bring a slice of joy to your life, as it has mine, and grow awareness for blood cancers while supporting those in need.

40% of all mint proceeds will be donated to fight blood cancers + 60% of royalties from secondary sales in perpetuity.
Forty percent of all mint proceeds will be donated to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, a US-based nonprofit engaged in various blood cancer research and advocacy initiatives. The goal is to raise over 70 ETH for charity from the initial sale alone, in addition to donating sixty percent of royalties from secondary sales in perpetuity.

What is the allocation of the NFTs?
The total supply of Lil Sicky is 5000, randomly generated NFTs.
50 NFTs (1% of the total supply) will be set aside for marketing & promotions. The remaining 4950 will be available for public sale for .0369 ETH each.
Is there a whitelist / pre-sale?
No, randomly generated NFT distribution is designed to be fair. An early access list for a new public mint is inherently not fair as it creates an in group & and out group, or requires "grinding” which we do not support.
Where are funds being sent for donation?
Forty percent of each mint will be donated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, along with sixty percent of royalties from secondary sales in perpetuity. Donations will be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) using The Giving Block.

When will funds be donated?
Our NFT smart contract is designed to allocate funds at the time of each transaction. This means 40% is automatically set aside for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for every Lil Sicky minted, and 60% is automatically set aside from royalties on any secondary sale.
With The Third Web split contract system, we must take an action to distribute the funds at key sales milestones - at which time the donation will be submitted to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society via The Giving Block and a receipt will be generated showing proof of donation.

Can this be claimed as a charitable donation for tax purposes?
Our original plan was each receipt from The Giving Block would show individual Lil Sicky purchases for tax purposes. However, with The Third Web split contract system the donations will be in larger chunks reflecting donations across multiple sales. This is pioneering in new territory! As such, we are continuing to explore options for holders to appropriately claim as a charitable donation for tax purposes and will provide updates as they become available.
Who is Lil Sicky?
Lil Sicky is me - a real dude with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. My job requirements do not allow me to publish my full identity. We hope that our transparency with pricing, donation allocations, and all other team members being fully doxxed gives you confidence in our project & mission.
What's next?
My battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma continues, with a few more months of chemotherapy to complete. Around the summertime I will then have more scans to determine how treatment is progressing and next steps. I am optimistic and look forward to making an impact on an organization that supports so many who are fighting similar battles.
